If you are getting an
error message ("page cannot be displayed") when you try to
connect with our secure credit card processor's site (IBill), the
connection problem may be related to a security setting in Internet
Explorer that is incompatible with the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) installed
on the IBill secure credit card processing server.
Please try the following:
Go to the "Tools" option on the Explorer menu. Select
"Internet Options" and then select the "Advanced" tab.
When there, please scroll down to the "Settings" window until
you come to the "Security" section. Look to see if there is a
check-mark in the box next to the "Use TLS 1.0" option. Please
make sure there is NO CHECK-MARK in the "Use TLS 1.0" checkbox.
When finished checking and correcting this option, click on the apply
button and try to access the IBill secure page again.
In talking about this issue with IBill's technical service, they assure
us that no security is compromised by making this correction in the
Internet Options settings. The TLS 1.0 security option is just one of many
security connection options available on the Internet today and is
sometimes used in certain online banking services. You may have to
"re-check" the box later when using an online banking service
that also uses this secure connection option.
